ABOUT THE ROLE:
We are looking for an Account Director with approximately 6+ years of experience in healthcare/pharmaceutical/biotech advertising to work across our health business. We are looking for a candidate who has previously led a launch for a Global account and would be comfortable working within a co-promote. It’s an exciting time to join the team as we are working on a variety of campaigns that cover both pre-launch and launch campaigns, from strategy to tactical delivery.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Strategic Client Partnership & Growth
● Develop, own, and maintain strong strategic relationships with key clients at all levels, from day-to-day contacts to senior stakeholders.
● Gain a deep understanding of the client’s business, their commercial objectives, and their challenges to act as a trusted strategic partner.
● Proactively identify and drive opportunities for organic growth, building a steady pipeline of work by leveraging your intimate knowledge of the client’s business.
● Lead strategic discussions, contribute to the development of proposals, and effectively champion creative work that will help clients achieve their objectives.
Commercial & Financial Management
● Take full responsibility for the commercial health of your accounts, including meeting income targets and building a steady flow of work across the year.
● Oversee the development of project budgets and timelines, ensuring profitability and financial control.
Project & Delivery Excellence
● Oversee the end-to-end delivery of all projects for your clients, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to an exceptional standard of quality.
● Work closely with creative and production teams, reviewing creative work, providing constructive feedback, and overseeing suppliers to ensure flawless execution.
Team Leadership & Mentorship
● Lead an Account Manager and work closely with your Project Manager, providing clear direction and ensuring they are both engaged and performing at a high level.
● Foster a supportive team environment, delegating effectively and mentoring junior members to support their professional development
● Understand leadership of a large team across multiple geographies (NY/UK/CA).

● Maintain a big-picture view of the business, contributing positively to the wider agency culture and participating in initiatives beyond your direct account responsibilities.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
● Strong communication skills and ability to quickly build rapport with clients

● Passionate about creativity – enjoys working with creatives to find novel ways to tackle client briefs and craft the creative product
● Commercial acumen – can develop budgets and timelines and support senior leaders to run accounts profitably and drive projects through the agency
● Good team player, works well with planning, creative and production
YOUR EXPERIENCE:
● 6+ years of experience in healthcare advertising
● Experience leading launching a global/US brands in healthcare advertising
● Experience of Veeva Promomats and CRM platforms
● Experience of leading big 360 projects across digital, print, film, congress/experience
