Hello! My name is Rei Watanabe. I am a Product Designer with a talent for imagining universes from the essence of an entity or premise. As a well-rounded Designer, I leverage this strength to solve complex problems with holistic, simple, and intuitive solutions that extend beyond the digital landscape. I use this approach to help shape foundational product visions, build scalable systems, and craft experiences that are deeply aligned with purpose and context. This has allowed me to contribute to a wide range of work — from defining the future of electric vehicles and designing one of the first fully digital insurance apps, to reimagining hospital experiences through mobile, inventing a token-based UI animation system, and building a semi-automated CRM toolkit now in use by Samsung.
